Medical Skin Needling

What is Medical Skin Needling?

Medical skin needling is designed to reduce the visibility of ageing by treating:

How is Medical Skin Needling Performed?

Your clinician utilizes a Dermapen which has multiple needles that vertically pierce the skin with an automatic vibrating function.  When moved across the skin’s surface it stimulates natural collagen reproduction, whilst allowing fine channels to be created in the skin (known as ‘micro channels’) in the target area.

This procedure stimulates the production of growth factors in the deep dermis, triggering the natural healing process and collagen-production.

This leads the treated skin to appear thicker, smoother and healthier.

Medical skin needling is different to cosmetic needling, and must be performed by a clinician only.

How Many Treatments Do I Need?

Ethicos Institute recommends four to six treatments, with two or four weeks between each.

Your clinician will assess your skin and treatment are to recommend a treatment plan suitable for you. We can provide in-depth information and advice on medical skin needling, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
